A free training for occupational therapists curious about a different way to practice.
Perhaps you feel drawn to nature-based occupational therapy—but you’re unsure where to begin, whether you know enough, or what this path could look like for you.
In this free training, I share the honest story of how I began with a few summer camps, navigated years of uncertainty, and gradually grew into my work as a nature-based OT.
You’ll hear about:
The question that started my journey
How I began before I felt ready
The doubts I experienced along the way
How confidence grew through practice
Why your beginning does not need to look like mine
You don’t need to leave your job, own land, or have everything figured out.
You may simply need a small place to begin.
Lisa Haverly is an occupational therapist with more than 25 years of experience and the founder of Rainbow Tree Therapies. After two decades working in traditional settings, she began asking a bigger question: What might become possible when we consider not only the child, but the environment in which development and participation unfold?
That question led Lisa outdoors and ultimately transformed the way she practices occupational therapy.
Today, she combines her clinical experience with a nature-based, occupation-centered approach and is passionate about helping other professionals discover what nature might make possible in their own practice.
