The Nature Superhero Network
We welcome parents, caregivers, and professionals!
At Rainbow Tree Therapies, we believe children grow through meaningful participation, supportive relationships, play, and connection with the world around them.
Whether you're a parent or caregiver looking to better understand your child, or an occupational therapy professional looking to deepen your practice, there is a place for you here.
What if we looked beyond the behavior and even beyond the skill?
Sometimes we need to zoom in—to understand the sensory, motor, emotional, cognitive, and developmental capacities influencing participation.
And sometimes we need to zoom out—to consider the environment, relationships, meaningful occupations, and opportunities surrounding the child.
At Rainbow Tree Therapies, we believe in considering the whole child within the context of their everyday world—and exploring what nature may offer for movement, connection, challenge, restoration, play, and participation.

Hi, I'm Lisa, an occupational therapist, nature-based practitioner, educator, and founder of Rainbow Tree Therapies.
For more than 25 years, I've supported children and families through occupational therapy. Over time, my work has grown from traditional practice into something more deeply connected to nature, meaningful occupation, relationship, and the whole child.
Today, I continue to work directly with children and families while sharing what I've learned with the professionals who support them.
