There is so much information available online, and I deeply value accessibility and sharing knowledge. At the same time, this series is something different.
This isn’t just content, it’s a guided, intentional experience built from years of practice, reflection, and refinement.
I launched my first nature-based camp in 2013, and since then, I’ve continued to learn, adjust, and grow this work in real, lived settings. What I’m sharing in this series comes from that depth of experience and not just what sounds good, but what actually works.
When you join, you’re not just receiving information, you’re stepping into:
Thoughtfully designed learning that connects reflection, theory, and practice
A live, interactive space where your questions and experiences matter
A supportive community of professionals navigating similar paths
Practical guidance to help you move forward with clarity and confidence
Charging for this work allows me to:
Show up fully and be present with you
Continue developing meaningful resources and opportunities
Sustain and grow this work in a way that supports others long-term
If you have questions or are unsure if it’s the right fit, I’m always open to connecting.
Yes, this is an option! You can you join us for $1 for the community gathering only!
Lisa Haverly
Lisa's been an OT for a while now, over 25 years. She lived the pediatric OT dream in a school based setting for 20 years. Her side gig/purpose driven mission of connecting children to nature and hosting a space of belonging for all children came to light in 2013. She walked away permanently from school based OT in 2022 to build her mission and vision of nature based OT services and nature programming for children. Her childhood on the prairie, days spent in her grandmother’s gardens, and the influence of her father who comes from a long lineage of entrepreneurs in the farm machinery industry shaped her desire to become a change maker. She never has thought of herself as a trail blazer but rather bringing forth wisdom of old with the knowledge of new. Over time, Lisa found herself struggling with the growing demands of the school-based setting, including high caseloads, the pressure of an academically driven environment, and the steadily increasing behavioral needs of students. Lisa believed in the power of the natural world as a supportive and healing environment. She decided that nature felt like the best therapeutic environment. In 2013, she couldn't find anyone doing what she had envisioned but decided to take a chance. Her business has been thriving ever since. Today she holds a special place for others wanting to take this path of nature based programming and services. The Nature Superhero Network grew out of a vision to inspire a movement of change and supporting practitioners in reconnecting their communities with nature. Through this work, individuals and groups discover and embody their own unique superpowers, realizing that there is hope and that occupational therapy in nature can be a powerful force for healing and connection.
